Did you know inflammation is a normal part of being active? Whether you are a professional athlete or you only make it to the gym a couple of times a week you may experience some sort of soreness and tension from being active.
Not exactly sure what inflammation is? Well, exercise induced inflammation is your immune system’s natural response to outside stimulus, which can cause redness, soreness, swelling and aches. You know that tight feeling throughout your muscles and body after a workout? That’s inflammation! While this response is completely normal, it’s important to give your body time to recover. When/why did you start focusing on your athletic career?
“Health was always a priority for me. After college I started teaching fitness on the side and then when I moved to Florida in January 2020, I went full time fitness and have started sharing more wellness driven content from good-for-you recipes and clean products. I also started a virtual teaching platform that took off during 2020 and will hopefully have more news on the future of this very soon!”
About how much physical activity do you do a week?
“I teach several fitness classes a week, but I make sure to carve out training time for myself at least 4 times a week. On off days I love to take long walks with the dogs.”
What are some physical symptoms you have experienced after working out?
“Definitely muscle soreness and fatigue."
How long have you been using CBD?
“For about 5+ years.”
